Extended and Non-Intrusive Help

We put a lot of thought into the design of the HotDog Shell. When designing each dialog, as well as considering ease-of-use, we aimed to enhance the learning process in a convenient and non-intrusive manner. So, for example, the wizards we have created not only help you to perform involved tasks, but also provide useful tips and diagrams. On each dialog is a Question Button button that you can just click on and drag to the feature on the dialog that you would like information about. Each dialog also contains a Help button that links to extended help. Therefore, not only is the function of a dialog explained, but relevant background information and tutorials are also supplied.

ToolTips

HotDog Pro provides advanced HTML help as well. By placing your cursor over different parts of your code, popup information (tooltips) appears about that part of the code and will even let you know if there is any unrecognized/incorrect code. By moving your cursor over color codes, an image of the color appears so that you know exactly what color you have specified in your document. This is also the case with images - by placing your cursor over your image code a small version of the image appears so that you know exactly which image has been inserted into your code. With the assistance of Code Completion and our HTML Property Sheet, learning HTML is easier than ever before.
